Course Description

This course will explore the medical care and nursing care in Asthma in follow up to Asthma Nursing Part I.  It is a chronic inflammatory airway disorder characterized by airway hyper-responsiveness and recurrent episodes of acute symptoms such as wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, and/or shortness of breath (SOB) that affects between 235 and 300 million people worldwide.
